Brief Description of the Stadiometers (Height Measuring Devices) According to Prof. Keller

The main girder with the dimensions 8x4x225 cm is a high-quality, stable, anodised continuous casting aluminium profile.
On the front face, a transparency film has been stuck showing the nominal values (percentiles) of the individual age classes.

The front plate and the 2 wall supports are stamping parts that have been completely powder coated with RAL no. 9010. The 4 ball-bearing, profiled rollers are sheathed with plastics and ensure silent run. The viewing window and the side scale enable the reading of the measured values; they are made of Plexiglas®, and printed. The two brake levers are surface-coated, all joining elements are nickel-plated. The base plate and the heel support are made of plastics and connected with the aluminium girder with stable hinges (blue chromated). In the bottom plate that can be folded up a round magnet is situated.

Consequently, all components are corrosion-resistant and characterised by reliable functionality and long service life even in case of extreme fluctuations of temperature.
